Payroll Software Conversion

This service involves us helping businesses convert from one payroll program to another. The reason you may need to change to a new payroll system are many. It could be:

You need to integrate to online time sheets so staff can enter their hours which get imported into payroll.
There's a requirement for online leave management so staff can apply for leave which then gets approved by their manager. Leave is then imported into payroll.
You need a payroll with better features such as ability to manage flexible employees, costing reports, integration to your accounting system and better reporting.

What do we do?

Meet you and agree on your payroll requirements
Agree with you on new payroll software – provide a cost for software, migration and training
Arrange for the payroll license
Send your existing payroll away for conversion (52 weeks of holiday pay history is needed)
Set up your new payroll file/s
Set up any additional deductions/allowances
Enter cost centre and pay points
Check employee details and load any fields missing from migration
Load up permanent payments and deductions
Load up YTD earnings since 1/4/xx
Load up leave balance and check leave report against your previous payroll system. This needs to be carefully done as payrolls work differently.
Run a parallel pay with you – from old to new payroll
Train you on your new payroll system including payday filing

How long does conversion take?

Allow 10 – 15 minutes per employee depending on the size and complexity of the payroll. We should be able to estimate once we have checked your old payroll.
